Religious Awards
Overview
To encourage members to grow stronger in their faith, religious groups have developed the religious emblems programs. The Boy Scouts of America has approved these programs and allows the emblems to be worn on the official uniform. The various religious groups administer the programs.
For each faith, a specific set of requirements is published and is established by the religious faith and not by BSA.
For a listing of resources for each of the religious faiths that participate in this program, visit www.praypub.org. PRAY (Programs of Religious Activities with Youth) is an independent group that supplies different religious medals and materials.
If you have questions regarding the religious emblems program, contact Al Holt or Tom McCarty

LHC Council has several very active Religious Committees. Their responsibilities vary as do the size of the committees and meeting schedules.
For more information on each of the Religious Committees, please contact the Committee Chair and/or the Staff Advisor.
