Diversity in Scouting

Our rapidly changing community demographics and George Rogers Clark District's vision of having a positive influence on all young people has developed this page to be proactive on issues of diversity. The District Committee offers awards and training, serving as a resource to advise and assist in:

  • Educating Scouts, staff, volunteers and parents

  • Acknowledging, celebrating and appreciating human differences

  • Fostering an environment where people feel welcome and valued

  • Remove barriers that limit full participation in Scouting
